November Meeting - Silent Auction, Mentors Speak, AND Alumni!
We are looking forward to a really full and fun night on Thursday, November 17th. Our Silent Auction is 'new and improved' this year with the bidding open so you can see what the current bid is on an item. We are still taking donations up until that evening (please bring in donations by 6:30 pm.) Our doors will open at 6:30 pm to allow 30 minutes of preview time before our meeting starts. Another big change is that our MOPS Graduates are being invited back this year, so if you are an expectant mom, a mom of a preschooler 0-6, OR a former MOPS member, please come and share in the fun!
Our wonderful Mentors Anna, Kathy, Marie, and Marilyn will be our speakers. They will be sharing their experiences of "Surviving" early motherhood. The Mentor's talk is always a favorite and sparks great conversation.
So bring your money (hey it is a fundraiser) and get ready for a great night! See you Thursday, November 17th in the lower level of St Ann's Church.

Coffee Break Festival - What a GREAT Time!
OK so the weather kept us on our toes (torrential rain and wind followed by lots of hot sun) but hey it's Wisconsin! Thank you to all the MOPS Members that helped at the booth and all our new mommy friends that stopped by. We are so looking forward to seeing each of you at this year's meetings.
Remember that next Saturday, August 27th is our BIG garage sale at 1713 Buckingham Drive from 8 - 2. We have priced everything very reasonable so come get your bargains and help out MOPS. The money we make will help us cover administrative costs, the occassional food or beverage purchase, advertising to reach more moms and of course our Mother's Day Project which gives Mother's Day gift bags to struggling single moms in our area.
